This section type allows you to show items based on traceability rules.

You select the source items and target items

Option (defaults in bold)Effect

Show ...

  • the items
  • item references: as above but only the item IDs are shown in a list.
  • as table (source|target)
  • as tree (source → intermediates → target)
  • items: this will show all items of the target category which are derived directly or indirectly from the input type.
  • item references: as above but only the item IDs are shown in a list.
  • table: shows all the derived items in once column and on the other side all the source items for each target item.
  • tree: shows the traceability tree from the source to the target.
See List of Items for additional options if the items are shown.If items are shown, they can be formatted like in normal item lists.
Message, if no items match selected inputMessage shown if no items are derived from the source items withing the selected target items
